Advance Disco has been a wedding DJ in Gretna Green since 2008.
Over the years we have provided our DJ entertainment for wedding in many different Gretna Green venues, but mainly attend celebrations at The Gretna Hall Hotel, and The Smiths Hotel.

Yes, Small weddings are our speciality. We are very comfortable with small numbers, and enjoy the banter we have with guests.

Is Your Disco Equipment Modern?
Yes, Advance Disco is always ahead with great innovation. For example; We pride ourselves with volume compressed audio, which helps to keep the sound within the function room - An importaint factor at The Smiths Hotel.
- Our lighting is colour coordinated to your wedding colours during the start of the evening, creating a fabulous atmosphere.
- The lighting and audio are midi controlled, giving us greater flexability to mix beats, communicate, and enjoy what we do.

It is a privilege to work in such a beautiful area, coupled with the joy of entertaning small family weddings.
What Advice Can You offer?
The Smiths Hotel has four function rooms side by side, whilst there are no sound volume limiters, there maybe some sound bleed-over which we have covered using volume compressed audio levels.
The Gretna hall Hotel has sound limiters which are set correctly, and don't cause any issues. However, After 23:00hrs volumes will need to be reduced to respect other hotel guests.
Do You Have Public Liability Insurance?
Yes, we have full £10 million (PLI) Public Liability Insurance, and our equipment is annually PAT electrical tested.

Yes, music is the most importaint factor, and many couples who marry at Gretna Green do not live in Cumbria or south Scotland, and as such they prefer to communicate digitally.
