Advance disco provided absolutely top class service for my wedding. Mike was wonderful, engaging with my guests, playing requests and top tunes. Couldn't fault the service at all. The portal was easy to use too for payments and giving details. Would definitely recommend and if in need of a good DJ.

What a fantastic night! The music was great and the DJ was a really nice guy, everyone had a great time and the price was good too! Will 100% be using this Mike again and I definitely recommend him.

Excellent company. They DJ at our wedding last November in the lake district. Choosing your music on their system is simple and reccomened. The DJ (Mike) played all our requests and managed to include requests given by our guests. Well worth the extra few £££'s. Would certenly book again.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for our disco on Saturday night at Hundith Hill. It was a brilliant night and I appreciate how seamless it all was. Being able to choose songs beforehand is absolutely fab. I did want to catch you before you left to say thank you but ended up getting waylaid by some very drunk people! The video you sent of the dancing was absolutely lovely and occasionally hilarious!

Mike was the DJ for our wedding. There were over 80 guests of all age groups and Mike read the room very well. Our guests liked the request cards. Thanks for an enjoyable evening and would certainly recommend.

Absolutely brilliant wedding disco!! The online portal for choosing songs and organising the event is genius, particularly as guests can also make song choices. So professional and swift response if there was a query. Wholeheartedly recommend.

Mike was the DJ for my daughter's wedding & it was a fantastic night. An eclectic bunch of guests of various ages & tastes, but he managed to please us all with his music & a bit of banter thrown in for good measure. He read the room perfectly. What a lovely fella. Thank you for an evening that we shall never forget!

The online portal to prepare for the wedding was clear and easy to use. We had some fairly varied requests and Mike made them all work together as one playlist really well. We had a couple of our custom songs labelled back to front but it was very quickly sorted out and didn't affect the flow of the evening. On the day I was incredibly pleased with the way our requests had been met and how the energy in the room was kept up. Mike had a great sense of humour (which you'd need for my mad family) and read the room really well for what to put on next between requests. I thought the request slips were a great idea and it meant that some more shy people at the wedding got to put their song requests in too and there really was something for everyone. I was even more pleased to be surprised with a video of some of the highlights of the evening so that we can relive them while we're waiting for our photos. A huge, huge thank you from myself, my new husband and our guests. We had a great night and highly recommend Motiv-8!

I've been to a few weddings over the years but this DJ is the best. Mike knows his trade well and does it properly. Good lighting effects Good video effects. And above all else a decent good quality sound setup. You name it and he can play it. Motiv-8 was our dj at Broadoaks windermere for our wedding .

This was the Disco we chose for our wedding and Mike the DJ was fantastic. He read the crowd accurately and the music was great. The Karaoke add on is well worth it for that extra fun factor.

Everybody had a fab night at our party and the dance floor was full, guest requests were played and everyone was happy.
The dj box and lights looked great and pictures of the night were shown on the TV screen throughout the night.
Great DJ and professional service.

Fantastic service by Mike at Motiv-8 Disco Cumbria for our wedding. The 'set-up' was great, and all requests were played. My new wife was really impressed by the video that was made,
she wasn't expecting it!
I'll admit that I wasn't the most 'organised' of customers, but Mike was cracking!
Highly recommended.

We thought disco was ok but felt that the customer service was poor. When asked a question we received a not so helpful reply and was made to feel we should not have asked. Although the question was about the singer.

Great communication, informative Web page. We was happy to give free reign to Mike to play what he knows fills the dance floor, but his Web page allows loads of lists u can choose from and lots of requests were on the night by our guests. Mike was entertaining on the Microphone, keeping it personal by using our names . Loved the fact he took pics and videos from his stage too which he sent over quickly. The floor was packed from the moment he started to the very last song. Thanks again !
