Professional Wedding DJ For The Inn On The Lake

Kit and Charles Graves bought the Ullswater Hotel in 2000. They re-opened as the Inn on the Lake on 1st March 2001.
During the first two years after re-opening wedding celebrations were held in the Lake View Resturant, and in 2003 they were moved to the ajacent Ramblers Bar. The Candle Room was purpose built in 2016 and now serves as primary function room.

We have provided disco entertainment at the Inn on the Lake, (formally the Ullswater Hotel) since 1993.
We do not work for any establishment; instead, we provide wedding DJ entertainment at the Inn on the Lake when booked by our customers. We offer a comprehensive and interactive planning service, combined with a professional disco setup and memories that will last a lifetime.

The Ramblers Bar measures approximately 12 x 10 metres, and 2.1 meters in height. There are two wooden posts which are in place to support a timber RSJ that runs across the room. During the daytime, the bar serves as a popular stopping point for walkers, with live sports constantly being shown. The DJ setup area is opposite the bar and to the right of the TV. It is admittedly an awkward seating alcove, but it is workable provided you move the wedding DJ setup forward by approximately 80cm, and position the disco lighting in front of the TV. Sound quality is always good in the Ramblers Bar due to the low ceiling.
A Sound Level Meter has been professionally installed, which is set low at around 85db. Again, another reason to move the wedding disco setup forward.
A seperate seating area to the left side called The Snug seats about 25 people. At every wedding we have attended, we have never experienced a poor night; the atmosphere is always lively, cheerful, and energetic. We would reccomend the Ramblers Bar rather than the Candle Room.

Tha Candle Room is about 10 x 9 Meters, with a high ceiling. It is a bright room, with a wall of glass windows facing west and looking across the car park. It is great for about 70 guests. Almost all weddings in Candle Room hire a white curtain screen; not to block the light, but to give privacy from the car park. The DJ setup area is located in a corner next to the large window. Many hotel managers do not realise that if DJ speakers are placed within two or three metres of each other, the DJ often has to play at almost double the volume in order to keep the energy lively.
This is why in the Candle Room we use wireless speakers; with careful placement, the overall volume can be reduced significantly, helping to avoid triggering the sound level meter while still maintaining excellent sound coverage.
