What Is A Typical DJ Setup In the Clubhouse?
Firstly, whether it is a DJ or singer, we recommend that they set up on the portable stage for safety when children are present, as children tend to run in and out of equipment while entertainers are performing from the floor.
The Clubhouse, which opened in 2012, can comfortably accommodate up to 200 seated guests. It measures approximately 40 x 25 metres with a 4-metre-high ceiling.
There are no sound level meters due to it's remote locality.
There are extensive windows on three sides allowing plenty of natural sun light. During early summer evenings this may be akward for DJ's with laptop screens.
The use of a fog machine in the Whitehaven Clubhouse is fairly ineffective, as the haze disperses too quickly to have any noticeable effect with the disco lighting. Loading in to the Whitehaven Club Club is easy and quick, directly through a wide 90cm disabled access door at the front of the building.
